About Bikaner Technical University

In The Location City Of Bikaner, Bikaner Technical University (BTU) Based In The Campus Of The Government College Of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bikaner. The University Is Located In The RIICO Karni Industrial Area Of The Bikaner, Which Is About 400 Km From The New Delhi. Has Been Established By The University Of Bikaner Act, 2017 (Act No. 31 Of 2017) Established In 2017. Its New Session Will Be Started From 2018.

One Of The Main Purposes Of The University Was To Share The Work Load With The Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Which Is Located In Kota. Initially, The Aim Of The BTU Was To Handle The Load Of The Technical Institutes In The 12 Districts Of The Western Rajasthan Along With Introducing The New Courses And Research Programs Which Are Of Importance To The Region. All The Technical Institutes Of The Bikaner Division, Jodhpur Division, Ajmer Division’s (District Nagaur, Ajmer), Jaipur Division’s (District Alwar, Sikar, And Jhunjhunu) Are Under The Administrative And Academic Control Of BTU.

After The Appointment Of The Registrar M.L. Chauhan In Bikaner Technical University, The Governor Of Rajasthan, Kalyan Singh Appointed The First Vice- Chancellor, Prof. H.D. Charan, Of The Bikaner Technical University For A Period Of Three Years. Currently, Prof. Hakam Dan Charan Is Dean Of Academics And Professor At The Rajasthan Technical University With M.Tech And Ph.D. As Qualifications.

Under The Guidance Of Prof. H.D. Charan, The BTU Will Be Responsible For The Proper Working And Functionality Of The 36 Different Engineering Colleges In The Regions Of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur (Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar) And Ajmer. Of Total 36 Colleges, 4 Colleges Are State Engineering Colleges And The Rest 32 Are Private Engineering Colleges.


To Cultivate And Improve The Development Of Mind, Body And Personality Of The Students And Enable Them To Contribute In Global Society By Fostering An Environment With Human Values And Professional Ethics Where The Students Feel Welcomed, Accepted And Respected Regardless Of Religion, Caste, Creed, Gender Or Social Status.


To Create A Caring Environment For Students By Planning And Providing Services To Encourage And Enhance Students’ Extracurricular Abilities And General Welfare Outside The Classroom That Will Endeavor To Promote Understanding Among Them Of Fuller Realization Of Their Objects Through Fruitful Intellectual, Social, Cultural And Corporate Life In The Campus And To Strive The Region And The Nation At Large By Providing Excellent Liberal Education And Quality Programmes Leading To Bachelors, Masters, Professional And Doctorate Degrees.
